Dew — is the Freshet in the Grass —

Dew — is the Freshet in the Grass —
‘Tis many a tiny Mill
Turns unperceived beneath our feet
And Artisan lies still —
We spy the Forests and the Hills
The Tents to Nature’s Show
Mistake the Outside for the in
And mention what we saw.
Could Commentators on the Sign
Of Nature’s Caravan
Obtain “Admission” as a Child
Some Wednesday Afternoon.
Spring
Dew is the fountain in the Grass —
Many a tiny Mill
Turns hidden under our feet
And artisan lies still —
We spy the Forests and the Hills
The Tents for Nature’s Show don’t
Separate between the Out and the In
And mention what we saw.
Could Reporters on the Sign
Of Nature’s Caravan
Get child Tickets
Some Wednesday Afternoon.
According to the Emily Dickinson Lexicon, Wednesday is a school day that has afternoon recess in England and New England.
