Life, and Death, and Giants —
Such as These — are still —
Minor — Apparatus — Hopper of the Mill —
Beetle at the Candle —
Or a Fife’s Fame —
Maintain —
by Accident that they proclaim —

Or Hurricane Candle
Or a Fife’s Fame —
Maintain — by Accident that they proclaim —
Lamps in the daytime 
*Hopper: Receiver like an inverted cone, through which grain passes into a mill.
*Beetle at the Candle: (Wind) beater; Hurricane Candle
*Fife: wind instrument played chiefly in martial music with drums.
These are not significant in peaceful time.
